Professional Skipper & Sailing Instructor – Croatia | Since 2012 I grew up sailing the Adriatic with my family and have been exploring Croatia’s coastline, hidden bays, and islands since childhood. I’ve been working professionally as a skipper since 2012 and I’m an instructor at NAS Sailing Center on Krk, where I teach practical skipper training, docking & maneuvering, navigation, and introductory sailing courses. I’m the founder of Vegan Sailing, offering tailor-made all-inclusive sailing trips with a 100% vegan menu, and the owner of Skipper Hotline, a remote personal assistance service supporting recreational and beginner skippers with expert guidance before and during their sailing holidays. I follow a vegan lifestyle and cook for myself daily. If my guests have different dietary preferences, this gives them more privacy and flexibility to enjoy dinners on their own. And when guests are vegan or vegetarian, we share meals and enjoy a matching mindset and lifestyle together. I speak Croatian, English, and Slovenian. My teaching style is calm, patient, and always grounded in a safety-first mindset. I have deep local knowledge of hidden bays, anchorages, marinas, weather patterns, and route planning across the Adriatic. Outside of sailing, I practice yoga and enjoy hiking, cycling, skiing, swimming, and playing volleyball, basketball, and tennis.
